Some stuff I read on August 3rd

I maintain a personal database of locations. Restaurants, mostly. Other locations to help me orient myself while looking for restaurants. It's grown quite large. It includes most of the Beard Award nominees for the last three years for instance. Plus hundreds of other restaurants from magazine awards and random things I hear. If, for instance, you were interested in a list all the BBQ restaurants that I'm interested in, you would browse this map.These aren't recommendations. I've visited a small fraction of these restaurants. This is a list of places that I'd like to visit. I try to only add items based on reputable recommendations.
